Through extensive user interviews and observations spanning various departments and experience levels, we gained profound insights into the challenges they faced and the improvements they desired.

Amidst COVID-19’s remote work surge, Bitwise sought to revamp its outdated intranet, crucial for boosting employee engagement and productivity.

Key findings from our research revealed a unanimous call for an intranet system that prioritized ease of use and functionality. Employees expressed their feedback for a more intuitive and customisable intranet system. They emphasized the importance of a robust search feature that could efficiently retrieve information across the platform. Additionally, there was a strong desire for seamless integration with other organizational portals and engaging features to enhance user engagement and productivity.
Redesign focussed on addressing employee concerns
Armed with these insights, we meticulously crafted a roadmap for the redesign of the intranet portal, focusing on must-have features that would address the identified pain points. These features included notifications for important updates, an enhanced search function with advanced filters, integration with frequently used apps, a dynamic homepage reflecting real-time organizational developments, and customizable themes to personalize the user experience. Upon implementation, the impact of the redesigned intranet portal was profound.
Ticketing system improved communication and enhanced workflow
The introduction of a ticketing system streamlined issue resolution, allowing employees to report problems promptly and facilitating faster resolution.
